NCRS Trailer as purchased

The NCRS trailer was already stripped of its original equipment which was a HF data communications system slightly more modern than Clansman. The actual radios were apparently a pair of Skanti 250W sets, and the data and ALE systems were made in the UK by Plessey. The Aluminium shelter itself was made by Marconi. The main antenna mast - a Racal 427 15-metre pump up and its legs - were carried in the boxes under either side of the cabin, and a separate sectional fibreglass mast was carried internally.
